HONDURAS MISSION 2024

We will be spending a week in the mountains of Central Honduras working alongside established local missionaries Erick and Yoamy Sanchez. The Sanchez family has been obediently serving the Lenca Indians, a largely unreached people group, for over 20 years! Erick serves as the Ministry Coordinator for work among the Lenca, focusing on evangelism, discipleship and church planting.  When they started their mission with the Lenca people, there were no established churches and today, there are now over 30 Lenca churches!  God is moving in this area of Honduras!

The tasks of our team while there are twofold: we will spend the morning hours working on a construction site to help build a dormitory at Yamaraguila Camp, a training center for local pastors.  In the afternoon, we will lead a children’s program for 120+ kids. They will play games, make crafts, sing songs and hear the great message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

Our team as a group has committed to bringing $12,000 for the construction of the dormitory at Yamarguila camp.

This contribution is a donation to our Missions Fund, with the specific purpose of equipping people to share the Gospel of Jesus. Your donations will be counted toward your missionary’s pledge of fundraising, but will not be given to, nor specifically used for any specific individual. All funds donated to our Missions Fund are always used for foreign mission purposes that align with the beliefs of The GraceWorks Church.
