Worship Pastor

At The GraceWorks Church we are passionate about Christ-centered worship. To this end, we encourage our church family to worship heartily not only on Sundays but throughout the week. Our DuPont Campus Worship Pastor will lead this charge. They will enthusiastically oversee every area of the musical worship during our worship service. Our Worship Pastor is a be a believer who models genuine worship and motivates a team toward creating a worship atmosphere that honors and glorifies the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Compensation

• Part time, 8 hours per week, $22.50/hr 

Schedule

• Sundays, 7:30am-12:30pm

• Weekly worship practice 

Essential Objectives  

• Collaborate with campus pastor to plan and implement worship servicing around a theme/big idea 

• Inspire passionate worship in our congregation 

• Recruit, train, and schedule worship team members 

• Select and prepare worship songs 

• Coordinate and direct worship team practices 

• Manage sound and stage equipment 

• Direct set-up and tear-down of stage and audio/visual equipment 

• Encourage congregation to engage TGW’s 4 Strategies  

  • Worship Services / Families / Community Groups / Service Outreach 

Qualifications And Competencies 

• A strong believer who is growing in their relationship with Jesus and exhibits Christ-like character 

• Optimistic attitude towards ongoing, vision-based recruiting 

• Ability to lead, coach, equip and inspire people and teams towards a common goal 

• Musical proficiency, experience on a worship team, leadership experience preferred 

• Proficient in communication, collaboration, and interpersonal working relationships 

• Proficient in the use of office technology and applications 

• Musical proficiency
